Meet and Greets take place at the VIP tent following selected sets throughout the weekend. Exact schedules and participating artists will be shared with VIP pass holders by email in the weeks leading up to the festival.
Yes. ATX Jazz Fest welcomes guests of all ages. Please note that every guest, including children, needs their own pass.
Tickets may be transferred to another guest at no charge. Reselling tickets is strictly prohibited.
Note: Events are subject to changes in time, date, or location. A ticket is a revocable license that may be revoked at any time for any reason.
All pass sales are final. Refunds will only be issued if ATX Jazz Fest is canceled in its entirety.
Yes. Passes may be transferred to another person. Please note that all transfers are made at the original purchaser’s own risk. ATX Music is not responsible for disputes between parties, fraudulent resale, or misinformation exchanged during a transfer.
Yes. Every guest, regardless of age, requires a pass to enter the festival.
Both shows are included with the Platinum VIP Pass. Stand-alone tickets may be released closer to the festival, subject to availability.
Yes. To upgrade to a higher tier, email us at info@atxmusic.com and we will process the difference in price. Upgrades are subject to availability.
Not at launch. Single-day passes go on sale in December 2026 — in time for the holidays. Note that VIP packages are weekend-only and will not be released as single-day. Until then, weekend passes are the way to secure entry.
Weekend passes include both Saturday and Sunday at Moody Amphitheater. Choose a Standard, Gold, or Platinum pass.
Standard passes are available as General Admission or Reserved Back. General Admission includes the open lawn, the standing-room pit directly in front of the stage, and all general admission areas throughout the park. You can move freely between these areas throughout the day. The pit is standing room only; choose Reserved Back if you prefer an assigned seat.
Gold and Platinum passes include VIP hospitality and additional seating options. Platinum also includes the Friday VIP Opening Night and Saturday Late Night Show at Assembly Hall.

Yes. Trained service animals, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act, are welcome at both the Moody Amphitheater and Assembly Hall. Emotional support animals and pets are not permitted.
Yes. The Moody Amphitheater provides accessible concert seating, ADA parking, flat paved walkways throughout Waterloo Park, and ADA-accessible restrooms. Sign language interpreters are available upon request. Please email info@atxmusic.com at least 14 days before the festival to arrange accommodations.
The Moody Amphitheater is located at 1401 N Trinity St, Austin, TX 78701. Rideshare drop-off and pick-up is along the north curb of 12th Street, just past Red River. Visit our Plan Your Visit page for rideshare, public transit, and full directions.
There is no dedicated Jazz Fest parking lot. Street and garage parking is available throughout downtown Austin within walking distance of the park, and we recommend reserving in advance through a parking service such as BestParking or ParkWhiz. Gold and Platinum pass holders have included valet at the dedicated VIP entrance at 1401 N Trinity St.
Personal photography with phones and point-and-shoot cameras is welcome. Professional cameras, tripods, and audio or video recording equipment are not permitted.
There is no formal dress code. The Moody Amphitheater is open-air, so we recommend dressing for the weather and for walking across the park. For the Friday VIP Opening Night and Saturday Late Night Show at Assembly Hall, cocktail attire is encouraged.
Yes. On-site food and beverage vendors will be available at the Moody Amphitheater, and Gold and Platinum pass holders have access to the VIP tent with snacks, lounge, and a private bar. Vendor details will be announced closer to the festival.
Gold and Platinum passholders may leave and return to Moody Amphitheater on the same day. Re-entry is for the same passholder only; a pass cannot be transferred to another person after entry. Standard passes do not include re-entry.
The Moody Amphitheater requires clear bags no larger than 12 x 6 x 12 inches, or small clutches no larger than 4.5 x 6.5 inches. Each guest may bring one sealed water bottle. Outside food, drinks, large bags, professional cameras, and weapons are not permitted.
Lawn chairs are not permitted at Moody Amphitheater. Small beach towels and blankets are welcome. Assigned seats are provided for guests with reserved seating.
ATX Jazz Fest is rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, we will communicate updates by email and on our official social channels.
Gates open 30 minutes before the first set of each day at the Amphitheater. Latecomers are seated at the manager’s discretion to avoid disrupting the performance.
We do not offer refunds or exchanges on tickets. Service and handling charges are non-refundable.

Not at all. Our programs are curated to be welcoming for first-timers and rewarding for longtime listeners alike. The pre-concert happy hour is a great moment to chat with our staff or other guests about what’s on the program.
Many classical pieces are made up of multiple movements, or sections, within a larger work. The convention is to applaud at the end of the entire piece rather than between movements — it preserves the momentum and emotional arc. That said, if a movement ends with such force that you can’t help yourself, applaud. The opposite is also true: when a movement ends quietly, hold your applause for a moment of stillness so other listeners can linger in the music.
Our events are cocktail chic. Dress to impress — but if you’d rather come in casual Austin style, that works too.
Our concerts are designed as social experiences as much as musical ones. We usually open doors up to 2 hours before the concerts. Guests are encouraged to arrive early for drinks, conversation, and a chance to meet fellow music lovers before the performance begins. Many audience members come specifically for the welcoming atmosphere and sense of community that surrounds each event.
