What to expect

A Chamber Music and Jazz Night

Our concerts are designed as social-artistic experiences, not just performances. A typical evening opens with a pre-concert happy hour featuring world-class cocktails, highly-ranked wines, and a curated selection of food — a chance to settle in and meet other guests. When the concert begins, the focus shifts to the stage. We ask for the room’s full attention — no talking, no phones, no photography, and please save any movement for between pieces. After the final notes, guests stay to mingle with the artists and ease into the rest of the night.

Check-In

When you arrive, our staff will greet you and check you in. Have the QR code from your confirmation email easily accessible to speed things along. If you’ve purchased an open bar or a meal package, you’ll receive a wristband for the bar and a coupon to redeem at the buffet.

Meals and Dining

ATX Chamber Music and Jazz partners with distinguished restaurateurs, chefs, and cocktail bars to provide premium food and beverage at every concert. Pre-order your dinner and open-bar package at checkout for a discount, or purchase à la carte at the venue.

Pre-orders close at 12 PM on the day of the concert. Reserve before then to lock in the discounted package.

Our Chamber Music and Jazz Series takes place in intimate venues throughout Austin. From historic mansions to contemporary event spaces, our immersive listening environments are thoughtfully designed to provide our listeners with world-class concert experiences and genuine social warmth.

The Mansion (Tex-Fed)

2312 San Gabriel St, Austin, TX 78705

Officially the Texas Federation of Women’s Clubs Mansion — known to Austinites as “The Mansion” or “The Fed.” Built in 1931 with help from philanthropist Clara Driscoll, this Georgian Revival landmark on the National Register of Historic Places hosts our most intimate downtown concerts. The performance, dinner service, and bar all happen in the main ballroom; if you’ve added a dinner package, you’re welcome to roam the historic rooms with your plate and find your favorite spot to settle in, then come back to the ballroom for the concert.

Parking

Downtown Austin parking can be tight. We recommend our valet service for the easiest arrival. Street and garage parking is available within walking distance, but spaces fill quickly on weekend evenings.

Private residence

One of Austin’s most beautiful private homes, opened to ATX audiences for our most intimate salon-style chamber concerts. The main salon offers wonderful acoustics and a setting that recalls the parlors and drawing rooms where chamber music was originally written and first performed.

The Music Box is a private residence. Address and arrival instructions are sent to ticket holders by email ahead of the concert.

Assembly Hall

1121 E 7th St, Austin, TX 78702

Assembly Hall hosts the festival’s Platinum-only programming. The Friday VIP Opening Night and Saturday Late Night Show take place inside this 300-seat space. A converted East Austin venue about a mile and a half from the Moody, Assembly Hall pairs polished concrete floors and 16-foot ceilings with arched windows and exposed steel beams. It’s a room built for close-range listening — sound that lands immediately, the audience leaned in, the artists within reach. The drive from the Moody is about five minutes; rideshare is the easiest option. On-site valet parking is available.

The Friday VIP Opening Night and Saturday Late Night Show take place at Assembly Hall on East 7th street — a 300-seat hall reserved exclusively for Platinum VIP pass holders, offering a striking contrast to the open-air Amphitheater shows.

Driving and Parking
Just a five-minute drive from the Moody Amphitheater. Valet parking will be available for our guests at Assembly Hall.

For drop-off and pick-up, please use 1121 E 7th St, Austin, TX 78702. This will bring you to the main entrance of Assembly Hall.

Platinum VIP pass holders will receive detailed directions, parking guidance, and arrival reminders by email in the weeks leading up to the festival.

Kodosky Manor

Perched in the hills overlooking downtown Austin, Kodosky Manor is a striking Italianate villa unlike any other concert setting in the city. Opened exclusively to ATX Music audiences for select performances, the manor offers an intimate salon-style experience where music, architecture, and atmosphere come together. With its grand interiors, sweeping views, and old-world elegance, Kodosky Manor evokes the private European estates and artistic salons where chamber music was once shared among close circles of patrons and friends. Every performance here feels personal, immersive, and extraordinarily special.
