Acclaimed soprano Jeanine De Bique brings her radiant voice to the historic Chateau Bellevue, transformed by candlelight into an intimate salon. This extraordinary program traces a journey through centuries and continents—from Purcell’s haunting baroque lament to Rimbaud’s fevered visions in Britten’s Les Illuminations, from André Previn’s poignant Honey and Rue to the vibrant storytelling of Caribbean folk songs.
In the flickering glow of candlelight, De Bique’s “luminous voice” (The Guardian) illuminates songs of searching and memory, exile and homecoming, shadow and revelation. Thoughtfully crafted cocktails by The Roosevelt Room accompany the evening. Experience music as it was meant to be heard—in the intimate atmosphere of a historic mansion, where every note carries the weight of centuries and the warmth of shared humanity.

Ensemble ATX will take the stage: violinist Geoffrey Herd, violist Jonathan Brown, cellist Clive Greensmith, pianist Anna Petrova—acclaimed artists known for their expressive and captivating performances. Continuing on the tradition of Musical Mixology concerts since 2024, come dressed to impress and ready to celebrate—this is a night to savor sound, sight, and flavor.
