Our mission is to reinvigorate public interest in classical music and jazz while offering a meaningful way for community members to spend time with friends and loved ones and expand their networks.
Aside from crafting extraordinary concert experiences, the organization is committed to making music accessible to all. ATX Music donates 10% of its seating capacity to children and their chaperones, and also regularly presents its world-renowned artists in schools, youth, and retirement centers, free of charge, to ensure our entire community can experience great music.
At ATX Chamber Music and Jazz, we believe in the transformative power of music to inspire, heal, and unite our community. In an era where many experience loneliness and social isolation, our mission is critical. The 2023 Surgeon General’s advisory on the Epidemic of Loneliness and Isolation, issued by Dr. Vivek Murthy, highlighted the severe health consequences of social isolation, urging a collective national response.
Simultaneously, the landscape of classical music and jazz faces challenges, with waning interest and dwindling audiences. These societal and industry-wide issues have driven us to innovate, creating a new model for presenting chamber music and jazz that blends world-class artistry with vibrant social experiences.

Violinist Geoffrey Herd dedicates his diverse musical career to enriching cultural landscapes and fostering musical talent within communities. His roles as a soloist, chamber musician, artistic director, and educator have allowed him to engage audiences in concert halls across the globe and support the development of aspiring musicians.
Herd’s collaborative performances with esteemed artists and orchestras have led him to perform in reputable venues such as the Isabel Stewart Gardner Museum of Art in Boston, Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, and universities and conservatories worldwide.
In addition to his performance career, Herd is the founder and director of the Geneva Music Festival. This platform unites accomplished classical and jazz performers and has gained national recognition in its 14th season, with performances regularly broadcast on major media outlets across the country. Furthering his leadership activities, Herd also serves as the CEO and co-artistic director of ATX Chamber Music and Jazz (ATX Music), an organization committed to creating the most innovative, engaging, and immersive chamber music and jazz performances available anywhere.
Praised for her “artistic, clear and enlightened” performances (BBC Magazine) that showcase “refined virtuosity and underlying passion” (Ritmo Magazine), Bulgarian pianist Anna Petrova embraces a multifaceted career as a soloist, chamber musician, educator, and artistic director. She has been the recipient of top honors and awards at international piano competition, including the Queen Elisabeth and Jose Roca Competitions, leading her to perform in renowned venues such as Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and the National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing. An avid chamber musician, Petrova is a member of two award-winning ensembles: the Carr-Petrova Duo, and Iris Trio. Alongside her performing career, she shares her passion for music education as the Associate Professor of Piano at the University of Louisville.
Petrova’s latest project is serving as the Co-artistic director of ATX Chamber Music and Jazz: an organization curating extraordinary musical and social experiences, while also offering educational opportunities to the local community.
Nicole Bolinger is a seasoned development and marketing leader with over 15 years of experience driving fundraising growth, strengthening donor relationships, and elevating brand visibility across mission-driven organizations. With a background spanning entrepreneurship, marketing consulting, and nonprofit development, she brings a strategic and creative approach to building meaningful community engagement.
Nicole is excited to join ATX Chamber Music & Jazz as Director of Development, where she can combine her professional expertise with her personal passion for music. She has seen firsthand how music can shape our lives; lifting our mood, inspiring connection, and helping us discover deeper meaning and passion in the world around us. She is especially inspired by the opportunity to help bring world-class music to the Austin community and to support experiences that move, connect, and inspire audiences in lasting ways.
A recent graduate of The University of Texas at Austin — Aidan Berg received his BM in Jazz Bass Performance with a minor in Arts Administration under the tutelage of John Fremgen and Diego Rivera. Throughout his studies, Aidan performed with the UT Jazz Orchestra for eight semesters and was a recipient of several prominent awards. During the summer of 2024, Aidan attended the Jazz Aspen Snowmass program, in which he performed in the first-ever JAS Afro-Caribbean Big Band. As a 2025 Rainwater Innovation Grant recipient, he brought renowned trumpeter Etienne Charles for a guest residency with the UT Jazz Orchestra. Furthermore, he is a 2025 Recipient of the Eleanor Alexander Stribling Award, Butler Excellence Award, and Fine Arts Scholarship Award. In 2026, Aidan competed in the National Collegiate Jazz Competition hosted by Jazz at Lincoln Center and received the UT COFA Artistic Citizenship Grant which funded a cross-disciplinary collaborative performance of improvised dance with Jazz quartet.
Aidan has cemented himself as an in-demand freelancer performing alongside national and local legends including Diego Rivera, Mike Sailors, Daniel Dufour, Ross Margitza, Quincy Davis, Xavier Davis, and Andre Hayward. As a bandleader, he frequently performs in a piano trio configuration throughout central Texas at renowned venues such as Monks Jazz Club, the Elephant Room, JazzTX, and Parker Jazz Club. Furthermore, he is also a music copyist serving local Austin jazz ensembles.
Outside of his performance career, Aidan serves as a logistics coordinator for ATX Chamber Music & Jazz in which he provides support to event production. On and off the bandstand, Aidan seeks to uplift and honor the rich tradition of jazz music.
Winter Green-Ike, co-founder and event planner for Twisted Clover Events, is proud to partner with ATX Chamber Music and Jazz to produce their concert experiences. Winter brings meticulous organizational skills and a passion for creating memorable events to every production she oversees.
As the detail-oriented force behind Twisted Clover Events, Winter specializes in comprehensive event coordination services that handle the logistics so artists and hosts can focus on what matters most. Her expertise includes timeline management, vendor coordination, and day-of execution that ensures each concert runs smoothly from setup to conclusion.

Lynn Parr Mock is a singer, pianist and advocate for education and the arts. Since 2020, Lynn Parr Mock has brought her expertise to the St. David’s Foundation as a non-profit consultant and committee member to the Foundation’s fundraiser Toast of the Town, resulting in record breaking donations each year including during the pandemic when she adapted the 42-year old fundraiser to a virtual format.
Blake Stanford is the founder, president, and board chairman of Southwest Human Development Services, Inc., a nonprofit that provides nutritious food to over 14,000 children in 900 Texas family day-care facilities through the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). He serves as president of the National Child Nutrition Foundation, board member of the National CACFP Sponsors Association (where he previously served as president), and vice president of the Texas CACFP Sponsor Association. He holds dual degrees from Southwestern University (B.S. in Social Sciences and B.A. in Spanish, 1981) and studied at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at UT Austin. Blake has extensive community service experience including leadership roles with Rotary International, elementary PTA, neighborhood associations, and serving as President of the Association of Southwestern University Alumni from 2012-2014.
Deborah Secord is a Risk Management Executive with experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Risk Reporting and Analytics, and Operational Risk Management in 1st and 2nd Line.
Anna Boyet is a linguist and certified translator and interpreter. Originally from Poland, she has lived in Austin, Texas, since 2006. Drawing on her expertise in language and cross-cultural communication, she runs a successful language services business, helping clients of Polish consulates confirm citizenship by descent and providing certified translations of vital records. Passionate about literature, music, and European cultural traditions, Anna is a dedicated supporter of the arts and an active participant in nonprofit cultural and business organisations, particularly within the Polish-American community.
Bryan Boyet moved to Austin, Texas, in 1992 after earning a Liberal Arts degree from Louisiana State University. With more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, he currently serves as Global Senior Manager of Telecom Operations at Apple Inc., where he leads complex global systems and teams with a focus on reliability, scalability, and innovation. A lifelong music enthusiast and amateur singer-songwriter, Bryan has a deep appreciation for live performances across a wide range of genres. He is proud to support Austin Chamber Music and Jazz in its mission to present world-class jazz and classical performances while inspiring the next generation of music lovers.
